Angry Boys plot

Comic series by and with Australian comedian, actor and writer Chris Lilley who takes his well-observed, character-based humor to new conceptual heights. In the twelve episodes of Angry Boys, he explores the lives, dreams and aspirations of the male sex in contemporary society. He does this on the basis of six characters that he all plays himself: the identical 17-year-old twins Daniel and Nathan Sims, who live in the Australian countryside; Blake Oakfield, a former surfing world champion now resting on his laurels; S.mouse, an African-American rapper whose middle-class upbringing is at odds with his street image; Jen Okazaki, a Japanese mother who wants to turn her boy into a skateboarding legend, and Ruth "Gran" Sims, an unorthodox prison guard in a boys' reformer.
