New Zealand Spy plot

In the 1960s and 70s, the NZIA, the New Zealand secret service, was looking for recruits to work as spies. They placed an advertisement in the newspaper to which three completely unsuitable candidates responded. There were five vacancies, so all three were hired. In their new roles, they had to protect New Zealand against foreign threats, the most important of which was Australia.
