East Palace plot
Strange incidents are taking place in the palace. The King secretly summons Gu Cheon and Lady-in-Waiting Saeng Gang and asks them to unravel the curse resting upon the Crown Prince's palace. Gu Cheon can travel to the spirit world and possesses the special gift of killing spirits with his sword. Lady-in-Waiting Saeng Gang was born with the ability to hear the sounds of spirits. She considers her gift a lifelong curse but uses her special ability to unravel the palace's secret together with Gu Cheon.
