On Saturday, March 30, 2024, Corné H. walked into Café Petticoat in Ede early in the morning. Three young employees and the co-owner of the café were having a drink together there after closing time. When Corné pulled out two knives and said that his backpack was full of explosives, the atmosphere immediately changed. The four café employees were held captive for hours, while the hostage situation turned into global news. In this docuseries, documentary filmmaker Jessica Villerius reconstructs that chilling morning through conversations with victims, police, special forces, and the family of Corné H.
