Legends plot
While the British government threatens to lose the battle against drug smuggling at its borders, a top-secret operation is being set up. Instead of deploying trained spies, ordinary customs officers are selected to go undercover. They must assume entirely new identities, known as "legends," to infiltrate the most notorious British drug cartels.

Legends really managed to grab me: believably acted, suspensefully built up, and just a pleasure to watch. It is the kind of series where you keep thinking: okay, alright, just one more episode then. The acting performances are strong and lend the story extra credibility. The journey to Pakistan (filmed in Turkey) in particular was very well captured. Atmospheric, raw, and visually impressive. The typical British humor did feel a bit forced at times and occasionally took away some of the tension, but that does little to detract from the quality of the series as a whole.
