In this series, we follow Ferry Doedens at a vulnerable crossroads in his life. After leaving GTST, he tries to find stability in love, work, and new income, while the spotlight slowly fades. What begins as a quest for control and recognition gradually transforms into a confronting portrait of loneliness and addiction.

Ik heb niets met Ferry Doedens. De fragmenten die ik zag uit GTST waren vooral vervelend, zijn zangtalent nog erger en voor zijn kunsten op Only Fans behoor ik niet tot de doelgroep. Neemt niet weg, dat het gedoe rondom deze docu mijn aandacht trok en ik met enige verbazing deze drie aflevering heb bekeken. Het is een eerlijk document over een ernstig verslaafde jongen die consequent zijn best doet om zijn tekortkomingen te verhullen en zichzelf ervan probeert te overtuigen, dat zijn levensstijl volledig normaal is. In zekere zin is dit een belangrijke documentaire die hopelijk bij zal dragen in de strijd tegen drugsproblematiek. Voor Ferry en zijn naasten hoop ik van harte dat het nog goed komt, maar eerlijk is eerlijk. Dit is een documentaire over een junk, niets meer en niets minder. Laten we hopen dat dit werk bij kan dragen aan preventie en dat Ferry ooit een docu mag maken waar hij op een gezonde manier hierop terug kan kijken. Voor nu een mooi, maar deprimerend document over een grote strijd, dat hopelijk een gezonder vervolg krijgt.

I don't care for Ferry Doedens. The clips I saw from GTST were mostly annoying, his singing talent even worse, and I am not part of the target audience for his antics on Only Fans.

That said, the fuss surrounding this documentary caught my attention, and I watched these three episodes with some surprise. It is an honest account of a severely addicted young man who consistently does his best to conceal his shortcomings and tries to convince himself that his lifestyle is completely normal.

In a sense, this is an important documentary that will hopefully contribute to the fight against drug problems. For Ferry and his loved ones, I sincerely hope things turn out well, but let's be honest. This is a documentary about a junkie, nothing more and nothing less. Let us hope that this work can contribute to prevention and that Ferry may one day make a documentary that allows him to look back on this in a healthy way.

For now, a beautiful but depressing document about a great struggle, which hopefully will have a healthier sequel.
