At exactly 6 p.m., the Netherlands is enjoying a plate of stamppot (with gravy) or a traditional "AVG" (vegetarian dish). Although, that's our traditional image. But is this image still accurate these days? Culinary television icon Janny van der Heijden investigates in "De Smaak van Nederland" (The Taste of the Netherlands). Is traditional Dutch cuisine still on the menu almost every day, or do we still prefer a quick and easy pasta dish? Do we actually cook ourselves, or do we reach for packets and bags, or even a home-delivered fresh meal?
