El Cuco de Cristal plot
Clara Merlo, a first-year medical resident, suffers a fatal heart attack and requires a heart transplant. During her recovery, she feels the need to meet her donor. This leads her to a small inland town to learn more about the life of the young man who gave her his heart. Clara thus delves into a place full of secrets, a mystery spanning twenty years, and a closed town where, on the day of her arrival, a baby disappears in a public park.

This series is based on a book by Javier Castillo. The quite good series "La Chica de Nieve" was also based on one of his books. Apparently, this series isn't watched much, and the reviews are generally not great.
I thought this series was quite good, and it was a miniseries, which I always appreciate. Those very long series from South Korea, for example, get boring after a while.

I found it a captivating story, with very solid acting, especially by Sopelana (the girl with red hair), and I was always looking forward to the next episode. A plus was the beautiful Extremedura, which unfortunately was hit by one of the many forest fires caused by climate change that same year...
