V.R. Troopers plot

The series revolves around three teenagers Ryan Steele, Kaitlin Star and JB Reese, in the fictional town of Cross World City. The three are teachers in the "Tao's Dojo", a karate studio. Ryan is a veteran fighter, JB a computer expert and Kaitlin the photographer for a local newspaper called the Underground Voice Daily. One day, Ryan and his friends find a strange lab while searching for Ryan's missing father. In the lab, a digital image of Professor Hart, a friend of Ryan's father, tells the truth about his life's work. He has secretly developed a highly advanced virtual reality technology known by the acronym VR. "VR" is now a dimension that coexists with ours. However, this dimension is filled with mutants and monsters that want to conquer both worlds. They are led by a being called the Grimlord, who unknowingly also has a human identity: the billionaire Karl Ziktor.
