In picturesque Bamberg, Inspector Behringer ensures that things get back on track and the perpetrators end up behind bars. His humble attitude is his weapon; despite his inferiority, he is extremely clever and has a sharp mind behind his faithful eyes. Behringer is stubborn, but not a loner – he can count on the support of his strong team: his young colleague Ela Jenning, the talented forensic scientist Sebastian "Basti" Loncar and Charly Behlke, a former colleague of Behringer, who fights hard for her life after a shooting, but remains fully motivated at his side.
