Holy Sh!t season 1

A rather hysterical tragicomedy with plenty of drama, yet also a touch of feel-good. The series is about a woman with Tourette's syndrome and how she tries to fulfill her utterly ludicrous dream of becoming a teacher. This sometimes results in hilarious, but also many painful moments that saddle the viewer with considerable vicarious embarrassment. After all, it's a remarkable condition. I'll never forget my first day at a rather special school with students with all sorts of syndromes. Suddenly, a student shouted across the classroom: "I hate niggers!" I was truly stunned and didn't know how to react when he repeated it several times throughout the lesson. All I could think was: wow, the multicultural society is bothering that boy. Later, I learned that he also had Tourette's. As a teacher, it must be even harder to build a life with these kinds of outbursts than as a student. So Yasmine's dream is quite unrealistic, but she plays it incredibly well. The series ends with a rather abrupt open ending, something I didn't see coming and can only moderately appreciate.
