Alien: Earth plot
In the year 2120, the Earth is ruled by five corporations: Prodigy, Weyland-Yutani, Lynch, Dynamic, and Threshold. In this era, humans are joined by cyborgs (humans with both biological and artificial parts) and synthetics (humanoid robots with artificial intelligence). But everything changes when Prodigy unleashes a new technological advancement: hybrids (humanoid robots imbued with human consciousness). The first hybrid prototype, named Wendy, marks a new dawn in the race for immortality. After Weyland-Yutani’s spaceship crashes into Prodigy City, Wendy and the other hybrids encounter mysterious lifeforms more terrifying than anyone could have ever imagined.

It's a slow series, but that's right up my alley. I agree with [user=59611]Fortune[/user], that eye is really interesting.
Episode 5 is my favorite so far. It's packed with action. (A mini-Alien movie in itself).
It's funny how the series seems to switch main characters every now and then. As a viewer, you initially root for one person, but later the series follows someone else, and I suddenly find myself switching teams.
Bring on the next episodes. And hopefully more seasons to come.

A rather frustrating viewing experience, with some very strong episodes but unfortunately also a few very mediocre ones. The series starts off well, but gradually falls flat, particularly due to the storylines about the hybrids (robots with human consciousness). They're simply not engaging enough. Everything related to the monstrous creatures brought back from space (not just xenomorphs!) is, however, done coolly. Visually, the series is excellent, although the setting is sometimes inappropriate and the title character comes off rather poorly. The best episode is the fifth, a kind of mini-Alien movie. If only the rest were of that quality.
