Mighty Morphin Power Rangers plot

In terms of story, Power Rangers follows the same principle as Super Sentai: An enemy (usually an alien army or an ancient evil) threatens the Earth. In order to defeat this enemy, a team of usually five individuals acquires superpowers magically or technically, allowing them to transform into strong warriors. As in Super Sentai, the heroes wear colored spandex costumes and use martial arts along with advanced weapons.
