Green Lantern The Animated Series plot
In the DC Universe, there are many heroes who hold the rank of Green Lantern. They all belong to the Green Lantern Corps. This corps was founded by the Guardians of the Universe, and serves as an intergalactic police force. Hal Jordan is recruited for a long-term space mission to deal with an outbreak of the Red Lantern Corps. Just as the Green Lanterns are driven by willpower, the Red Lanterns rely on hatred for their powers.
