The usual Attenborough quality in this three-part documentary series about the extraordinary ways animals hear and produce sound. I was a little worried that the visual aspect would be overlooked, but this fear quickly proves unfounded. The visuals are impressive, though they don't really break any new ground. The approach is certainly fresh, making the three episodes enjoyable to watch, accompanied by Sir David's masterful, soothing voice.
