It is the year 2040 and society is über-efficient and faster than fast. Machines, apps and devices have taken so much off our hands, but society still wants us to work harder. The elderly, with their dawdling and chattering, are a cog in the wheel of the fast-paced world and are therefore housed on special senior islands. When Jayson and Maud discover that not everything is as it seems on the senior island 'Albatros', where their grandmother and grandfather are housed, there is only one solution for them: escape.
