Eight-year-old Katootje Tekelenburg lives with her neat parents in a new housing estate in the town of Droogbaak. Her family is involved in an ongoing battle with neighbor Van Zanten who, like her, is competing for the prize for the neatest family in the Netherlands: the Emmy Gee trophy. This coveted prize will be personally presented to the winners by Her Majesty the Queen. Everything seems to be going smoothly, until Aunt Gazeuse from France comes along...
