Fishing for cod in the waters near the Arctic Circle is a tough, but very lucrative business. A good boat can, with a bit of luck, make millions of dollars in one season. Greg from America and Caitlin from England are attracted by these good financial prospects and respond to an advertisement to work as a sailor. Both have zero experience as fishermen and certainly none with these extreme winter conditions off the icy coast of Iceland. During a three-week trial period, they must prove that they are suitable for the heavy work that can earn them up to a hundred thousand in a season.
