Drama about two boys who are used by drug criminals and murderers.
In 5 episodes the monkey gets out of hand through flashbacks. By staying silent and lying long enough for fear of reprisal, it becomes a bit irritating. It seemed quite messy and long-winded. The series relies on the last episode.
The children acted naturally. Although Dogge had little text to remember.
The detective Farid behaves like a youth worker. Apparently very concerned about the boys, but still with a higher goal. I think he's a good actor. The restrained anger and powerlessness radiates.
By the way, with the Swedish series and films I am gradually getting the idea that larger Swedish cities are riddled with crime (drugs, human trafficking, kidnapping, murder). Although we only get to see a selection of Swedish TV productions.

I would really not recommend anyone to watch this, it's a waste of time. The story is very slow, depressing and increasingly messy towards the end. There are also some loose ends. And I didn't really understand the ending. Why does Dogge kill his best friend? What was the outcome of the trial? What happens to the shopkeeper who beat Dogge to death? What about the debt that Mehdi still had to pay? I'm afraid that all those loose ends are meant to tie up a second season, but I'm definitely not going to watch that anymore.

Gripping series. Terrible that young people are recruited to carry out criminal practices. Unfortunately, this is happening more and more everywhere, also in the Netherlands. I found the series gripping and exciting.
