Kerwin plot

Documentary series about the murder of 15-year-old Antillean boy Kerwin Duinmeijer (who was actually called Kerwin Lucas) on August 20, 1983 in Amsterdam. The series is a detailed reconstruction of a gruesome crime and the gigantic impact on many afterwards. Kerwin uninvitedly became the icon of racist violence. The series shows the innocent life of Kerwin, the friendship of the two teenagers Kerwin and Eric, the murder, the media storm, the fierce protests and the trial. The story analyzes the run-up and aftermath of the fatal event and is told through various people directly involved, such as his brother Purly Lucas and foster sister Nicoline Duinmeijer.
