Wild Cards plot

Cole Ellis is a demoted detective who has spent the past year reluctantly in the maritime unit, while Max Mitchell lives a transient life and elaborately cons everyone she meets. But while he is arrested and held at the station, Max ultimately helps Ellis solve a local crime. The two get the chance to redeem themselves: Ellis must return to his detective post and Max must stay out of prison. They must work together and each use their unique skills to solve crimes.
