Not a bad season at all. I also had my doubts about the existence of a 2nd season, but I am positively surprised. Is it top notch? It doesn't, but like the first season, it looks addictive and following the lives of the teenagers in the aftermath of Hannah's death is very interestingly done. Actually, I haven't been able to discover any real downsides, apart from the fact that the presence of Hannah was a bit forced here and there. However, it was not disturbing, partly due to another good game by Langford. The rest of the cast is also in better shape compared to the previous season, and no one is left out.

This season's mvp is clearly Walsh as Hannah's mother who manages to evoke emotion in the viewer.

A third season? I think he can come. The end of this second season can be viewed in two ways, so I wouldn't argue with a new season. Perhaps the series can continue in spin-off form, , as Hannah's story is now really finished. However, there is potential and interest in the rest of the teenagers, so why not?

By the way, my compliments to the makers about certain events in the last episode. Very confronting but oh so necessary that it is really exposed. There is no compromise with the viewer and that is daring, especially after all the criticism of the suicide scene from last season. Accusations that this is only for shock value are not valid in my opinion.

Slightly better than the first season for me, but that's probably mainly because my expectations of the first season were a bit too high. Went into this season without expectations, or actually mainly with a negative expectation. The last episode is also the best, just a shame that in the end not much was done with Tyler. Would have liked to shoot Montgomery and his buddies. That would have been so much stronger than this. Also a character that wouldn't be missed so much in a possible sequel.

Not everyone has the same level of acting. For example, I really don't understand how Miles Heizer (Alex) is cast as straight, he can't get away with that at all. It just doesn't come across as believable and (understandably) not at all natural. That is not so much due to the actor, but to the miscast casting. For the rest, I thought most of the lead roles were played well, with a number of supporting roles, on the other hand, I had my doubts and I didn't always think it was that strong.

With regard to a possible sequel, I mainly agree with the above comment. A spin-off would indeed be better, the chapter Hannah has been completed and has also lasted long enough. There is enough potential to continue a certain line, although that potential would have been even higher if my first spoiler had come out.
