Smeris plot

In the series Smeris, the seasoned detective Van de Kamp has to form a duo with academic lateral entrant Niessen against his will. Their first case gets completely out of hand due to Niessen's rash actions. In an attempt to force a breakthrough, the two unexpectedly start a gang war that they find themselves in the middle of. The men must do everything in their power to restore the chaos.

Ik heb deze serie zowat gebinged tot hiertoe en zit nu halverwege seizoen 4. En waar het eerste seizoen echt meer dan degelijke Nederlandse politie-misdaadserie was, zijn het 2de en 3de seizoen nog van een niveau'tje hoger en dit 4de seizoen is persoonlijk nog meer mijn ding en daar zit oa de "Rechter" heel wat voor tussen. En ook de intensere en boeiende relaties tussen de verschillende karakters, maakt het geheel dat er nog meer beleving heerst. Ook de nodige typische humor werkt positief. Ja echt top serie van onze noorderburen, in stijgende lijn en die ik bij deze later heb ontdekt, maar 100% het kijken waard, richting de Vlamingen hier.

I have pretty much binged this series so far and am now halfway through season 4. And while the first season was really more than a decent Dutch police crime series, the 2nd and 3rd seasons are of a higher level and this 4th season is personally even better. more my thing and the "Right" has a lot to do with that. And the more intense and fascinating relationships between the different characters make the whole experience even more enjoyable. The necessary typical humor also has a positive effect. Yes, really a great series from our northern neighbors, on an upward trend and which I discovered later, but 100% worth watching, towards the Flemish here.
