Club de Cuervos is about a relatively small football club from Nuevo Toledo. They play in the premier league and are the pride of the town. The club is owned by the wealthy Iglesias family. If the paterfamilias dies suddenly, a new president must be elected. Candidates are young son Chava, a spoiled rich lad, and his half-sister Isabel, who had been helping her father run the club for years. Isabel expects the board to elect her, but is completely overwhelmed when Chava is elected president. Chava soon finds himself at odds with the technical director and trainer, who work under an 8-year plan drawn up with the late father. Chava has his own ideas about the football club and contracts a great Spanish star, Aitor Cardoné. This turns out to be a very peculiar man, causing the team to completely disintegrate and not win a match anymore. Sponsors drop out, one match after another is lost. Meanwhile, Isabel and Chava continue to fight for power, with no means unshunned.
