Bates Motel plot

Freddie Highmore is Norman Bates, a 17-year-old young man who, after the death of his father, moved with mother Norma Louise to the coastal Oregon town of White Pine Bay to start a new life. Mother Bates has bought the dilapidated Seafairer Motel to make a fresh start with her son. Norman befriends a group of schoolgirls on his first day of school. The same day they also meet the previous owner of the hotel, who comes to demand his property back.

What's even more notable is the choice of Rihanna for the role of Marion, and the creators felt it necessary (as if they hadn't changed the story enough to keep her alive and instead replace the shower scene with her cheating lover, the scene also comes across as forced.

Romero also has to be sacrificed and Norman actually gets away with everything instead of paying for his actions.

The series itself is entertaining, but the modern sauce over the original is sometimes too annoying for words and sometimes even disrespectful.

don't rape the source material is my motto and if you want to tell a different story then come up with something completely different but don't try to score with a well-known name
