Exciting, very atmospheric Swedish crime series, with an above-average strong plot and fascinating characters. The beautiful nature shots also contribute a lot. With 'only' eight episodes, the series is just long enough and there is no excess fat. Intriguing and mysterious, with a cleverly worked out tension.

Excellent viewing. Reminds me in many ways of Source: the strange murders, the collaboration with a foreign detective, the facts of the murders, etc. But it can't match that series (which is no shame).
Well presented, with that Lapland setting and the theme music. I think there are small glitches in the background story of the French detective and that the series gradually loses power so that it will not stick.

However long the build-up and road to the denouement was: the end was unfortunately rushed in no time. In itself a good series of Scandinavian/French quality. The main story was captivating and exciting at times. The backgrounds of the indigenous people were also presented in an interesting way and were an integral part of that story. But alas, the personal story of Madame Zahi with her troublesome son did not interest me at all and disturbed the whole thing for me quite a bit. Even the unfinished business such as with the Thai lady costs me points. I thought the acting performances were reasonable; Burlin was put down the best, unfortunately too short. In any case, the pictures of the area were beautiful. And the helicopter? Just google SE-JOX.
