Started picking up everything at CAZ a while back. Third time watching the series and it hasn't lost any of its power yet. Truly one of my absolute favorites! The first season is really great to watch. It's been 5 years and I've forgotten something. Already recommended to a lot of friends and they also think it's a funny series.

In the first season we meet lame benefactor Rene, busy with his cafe, waitresses and all kinds of other things. Herr Flick with his limp, Helga, Leclerc. All characters that captivate and get caught up in the most bizarre situations. It is the Season of the start of the hiding of the British Pilots and The Fallen Madonna..
It was all still in its infancy because gradually you see the series and characters grow. Still, the first season is definitely worth watching, if you like the typical humor.

Incomparably funny how the characters are brought onto the stage in surprisingly comical, yet serious, circumstances.
They are caricatures. You know what their replies will be, and yet you are pleasantly surprised by the nuances injected into them in a British way.
It is remarkable how René barely needs to use facial expressions to still be convincing in his deadpan comedic – and so much more – role.
