Siaja is a young Inuk mother trying to build a new future for herself. After an impromptu exit from her marriage, Siaja must find a job and a place for her and her young daughter to live, fast. Her only option may be to bounce from one complicated living situation to another — where Siaja’s dreams of a fresh start collide with some long-held secrets. To top it all off, it all happens in a small Arctic town where everyone knows everyone.

Lichte en luchtige comedy over jonge Inuit-moeder Siaja, die besluit haar leven radicaal om te gooien in een kleine conservatieve gemeenschap. Siaja, gespeeld door Anna Lambe (True Detective, Three Pines, Alaska Daily), struikelt, botst en irriteert voortdurend. Deze verloren pup maakt het met haar goede intenties net iets te veel Disney. Maar voegt in ieder geval warmte toe aan de ijskoude plaats van handeling.

Light and airy comedy about young Inuit mother Siaja, who decides to radically change her life in a small conservative community. Siaja, played by Anna Lambe (True Detective, Three Pines, Alaska Daily), stumbles, bumps and irritates constantly. This lost puppy makes it a bit too Disney with her good intentions. But at least she adds warmth to the icy setting.
