The Brothers Sun plot

When the head of a powerful Taiwanese triad is shot by a mysterious assassin, his eldest son, legendary assassin Charles "Chairleg" Sun, heads to Los Angeles. He wants to protect his mother Eileen, as well as his naive younger brother Bruce, who has been completely shielded from the truth about his family until now. But as Taipei's deadliest societies and a new rising faction go head to head for dominance, Charles, Bruce and their mother must heal the wounds inflicted by their separation and figure out what brotherhood and family really mean before one of their myriad foes kills them all .

Wat een vervelende serie, ik kwam tot aflevering 4 in de hoop dat het nog "wat" zou worden. Het is een ouderwets soort Kung Fu actieserie (of soortgelijk iets) met een familie drama er omheen met iets wat kennelijk bedoeld is als humor? Nee, dit is aan mij niet besteed, ik weet niet hoe het afloopt en ik hoef het niet te weten ook. Zonde van de tijd......

What an annoying series, I got to episode 4 hoping that it would become "something".

It's an old-fashioned kind of Kung Fu action series (or something similar) with a family drama surrounding it with something that is apparently intended as humor?

Amerikaans-Aziatische actieserie. boordevol kitsch en nogal flauwe humor. Het is hersenloos maar toch amusant entertainment met veel spectaculaire vechtscenes en een passie voor eten, waar dan ook de nodige aandacht wordt aan besteed. Zeker geen topper maar voor mij kon het er net nog mee door.

American-Asian action series. full of kitsch and rather lame humor.

It is mindless yet entertaining entertainment with many spectacular fight scenes and a passion for food, which is given due attention.

Certainly not a winner, but for me it was just about okay.
