Deze vijfde reeks komt aanvankelijk wat stroef op gang, mede door nogal geforceerd aanvoelende verhaallijnen rond actuele zaken als black lives matter en Covid, maar na aflevering drie gaat de beuk erin en wordt alles gaandeweg steeds beter. Het niveau van de vorige seizoenen wordt niet overal gehaald, maar echt storend is dit niet. De personages blijven leuk en de scripts zitten wederom vernuftig in elkaar. Die allerlaatste scene van de seizoenfinale had ik overigens even niet aan zien komen, damn! Op naar het zesde en naar verluidt laatste seizoen.

This fifth series initially gets off to a slow start, partly due to storylines that feel rather forced about current affairs such as black lives matter and Covid, but after episode three, things go bad and everything gradually gets better. The level of the previous seasons is not achieved everywhere, but this is not really disturbing. The characters remain fun and the scripts are once again ingeniously put together. I didn't see that very last scene of the season finale coming, damn! On to the sixth and reportedly final season.
