Not brought what I had hoped for.
More than on the political background of the event - We are occasionally presented with this via media reports - the focus is on the consequences of the poisoning on the local population, in particular on the person responsible for health care and a police -officer. The families of those involved also play an important role and actually this all didn't really convince, let alone fascinate, because I didn't expect exactly that and the rather mediocre build-up of the series and the certainly not sensational interpretations.
In the credits we learn that the film was dedicated to the only victim of poisoning. It didn't seem necessary to me to hear how things were going with the other characters, barely 2 years after the events.
