The opener (pilot) lasts about 2½ hours. Beautiful landscapes and such from Yorkshire (just short of Scotland). a posh inspector who is saddled with a more down-to-earth, lower-ranking partner (something is about to happen!) for a gritty murder case that turns out not to be that complicated in the end... a bit dated in that sense, but extremely enjoyable for the connoisseur - c'est moi.
