Tidying Up with Marie Kondo plot

Japanese tidying guru Marie Kondo tries to help clutter makers get their house back in order. It is important with her method that you do not have to clean up per room/space, but per category. First clothes, books and papers and then all the other categories. Stuff with sentimental value is saved until last. The intention is also to let everything go through your hands and everything that does not make you happy or things that you never actually use can go straight into the trash.
