The Kansas City Chiefs came back from behind to win the Superbowl on Sunday, defeating the Philadelphia Eagles 38-35.
While most of the focus was on the football, for movie fans, the most eagerly anticipated aspect of the Superbowl was the half-time trailers for new movies being released in 2023.
Movie studios each paid a cool $7 million to have trailers featured during the airing of the match.
Fans got to view many Superbowl spots and trailers, with the most high-profile being Guardians of the Galaxy vol.3, Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny, Fast X, The Flash, Scream 6, Transformers: Rise of the Beasts, Creed 3 and The Super Marios Bros movie.
The Flash probably caused the most anticipation as it featured Michael Keaton's return as Bruce Wayne / Batman. Within the movie, Barry Allen encounters another version of Batman from his own universe.
Ben Affleck appears as another version of Batman from within Allen's original universe.
As for Indiana Jones, we got another glimpse of a de-aged Harrison Ford for The Dial of Destiny.
Some of the footage we saw was from full length trailers, while we also saw shorter ones, known as 'Big Game Spots'.
