Judging by recent comments from Connie Nielsen, it seems like a sequel to Nobody is definitely happening.
Nobody, starring Bob Odenkirk, told the story of a seemingly ordinary man who goes on a violent revenge spree after his family home is burgled.
A mid-credits scene left audiences wanting more, and they are apparently going to get their wish, as Nielsen, who played Odenkirk's wife, says she is looking forward to getting her family back together.
"Who doesn't love Bob? Bob is just so cool and fun and sweet, and he has unbelievable energy. I adore him," Nielsen told ScreenRant.
"That guy is just so great. And then, on top of that, you have this family again. I'm a family person and I love depicting the tensions inside of a family; the natural tensions, but also the sweetness that underlies the love that connects all of these people together. This is a great family. It's a great story that I look forward to returning to, definitely."
Nobody 2 is happening
Director David Leitch previously suggested that a sequel is in the pipeline.
"Oh, I think everyone's really excited about it," he previously told Collider.
"Everyone involved is like, 'Full steam ahead.' We are in the script process, and I think we had so much fun making that. Kelly (McCormick, producer) and I had a blast, the actors had a blast, the studio loved the results, and it's happening. I mean, I think it's happening as fast as we can make it happen."
When asked if he believes a sequel will definitely happen. Leitch responded:
"I do, because there are these certain journeys that you go on, and they're just undeniable experiences for the people involved. And that was one of them.
"And I think all of us want to go back and play in that universe, and we want to see Bob bring that character to life again."
