A new Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania clip has been released, and it has raised some questions over the wellbeing of a key Avenger.
The primary villain for the thrid Ant-Man movie is Kang the Conqueror, played by Jonathan Majors. Kang is set to be the new 'Big Bad' within the Marvel Cinematic Universe after the death of Thanos in Avengers: Endgame.
Indeed, one of the upcoming MCU movies is titled Avengers: The Kang Dynasty.
A leaked piece of footage last year showed Scott Lang bloodied and beaten after an encounter with Kang, which suggested for the first time that the villain is a major threat.
Marvel have steadily been releasing short clips of Quantumania as part of the marketing campaign for the movie. In the latest one, we see Scott and Kang apparently meeting for the first time.
While Scott's daughter Cassie is imprisoned in the background, Scott warns Kang that he is an Avenger.
Kang, crucially, then asks Scott if he has killed him before. We already know from previous clips that Kang has encountered variants of the Avengers in other sections of the multiverse.
Kang then asks Scott: "Are you the one with the hammer?"
This is a major hint that, not only has Kang met another version of Thor before, but that he has actually killed the God of Thunder.
