Chloe Moretz has confirmed that she has held talks with Marvel about joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
The actress has appeared in a comic book movie before, playing Hit-Girl in Kick-Ass and Kick-Ass 2.
To date, she is on an ever-shortening list of A-list actors who are yet to appear in a Marvel movie. But, it looks like we'll be seeing Moretz in the MCU, and potentially as a villain.
"Yeah, we've talked a little about it. I mean, I think for me, I would be really interested in playing a villain in Marvel or DC, and jumping into more of the darker side of the role," she told ComicBook.com
"I love a superhero. I think that'd be really fun, too, but I think it's just all about finding the one that really matches what you're wanting to get across, and the scope of the character.
"I think it'd be really fun if it was the right role and the right project."
At the moment, there are no further details about which character Moretz could potentially play.
Will Kick-Ass 3 happen?
The two Kick-Ass movies put Moretz on the map as a young star. Currently, there are no immediate plans for a Kick-Ass 3, but she says she would be up for returning as Hit-Girl as long as Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Christopher Mintz-Plasse return as Kick-Ass and Red Mist / Orange Mist respectively.
"I think I would love to do a Kick-Ass 3," Moretz said.
"I think it would be really fun to see where Hit-Girl goes and what she's like as an adult. But I think it would have to be kind of perfect.
"It would need to be, across the board, Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Chris Mintz-Plasse, the whole crew back together."
