The 2024 Critics' Choice Movie Awards took place on Sunday evening and Oppenheimer emerged as the hit of the ceremony.

Each year, the American-Canadian Critics Choice Association decides on the nominations and, ultimately, the winners.

The ceremony is designed to celebrate the best of film and TV over a range of disciplines from the previous year.

On the movie side of things, Oppenheimer was the big winner, taking home major awards including - Best Picture, Best Supporting Actor (Robert Downey Jr.), Best Director (Christopher Nolan) and Best Cast Ensemble.
