What is the plot of Mufasa: The Lion King?
Official premise:
'The prequel about the rise of one of the greatest kings of the Pride Lands, goes back to the African savanna where Rafiki tells Kiara—daughter of Simba and Nala—the story of her grandfather while Timon and Pumbaa add colour commentary.'
The story will be part prequel and part sequel, allegedly akin to The Godfather Part II.
It will focus on how Mufasa became the king of Pride Rock, while also dealing with the aftermath of the events of The Lion King. The story will be told via Rafiki, Timon and Pumba. We all also learn a lot more about Scar's backstory.
