Jeff Ramsay is the assistant to John Hartford, owner of the Hartford Transcontinental Railroad. Jeff is building the railroad over Hell's Gate Pass. He is hindered by King Carter (Harry Woods), who has proclaimed himself ruler of the land beyond the pass. Snakeye (Charles Stevens), a half-breed Indian, is hired by Carter to sabotage the work on the railroad, which involves kidnapping, vandalism and train robberies. Jeff, along with his helper Tex, must now free the imprisoned daughter of Hartford and ensure that Carter and his gang are taken out.
