Under Colorado Skies plot

"Lightning-Packed ACTION! New Western TUNES! All in sensational COLOR!"

Monte Hale works as a cashier at a bank in Allentown, Texas, to pay for his medical studies during the summer. Monte is about to leave the bank to return to college when the bank is robbed by two members of a notorious outlaw gang led by Marlowe. The bank manager is killed in the robbery. Monte discovers that one of the robbers is Jeff Collins, the young brother of his girlfriend Julia Collins. In order not to disgrace Julia's family's reputation, Monte takes the blame for the bank robbery and is arrested. However, Monte manages to escape and works undercover in "Lucky" John Hawkins' saloon to learn more about Marlowe's outlaw gang.
