"COVERED WAGON TRAINS BATTLE OUTLAWS!"
Farmers are claiming more and more land from ranchers and armed conflict is looming. Eddie Dean is asked to prevent an escalation. The cattle baron 'Quirt' Thayer wants to expand his territory and he wants his henchmen to provoke a war. When Thayer's henchman Dorgan kills farmer 'Pop' Sawyer, his son Jebby seeks revenge. When Eddie tries to stop Jebby, Dorgan kills yet another man, which Eddie is blamed. The locals want to hang Eddie.
