Thunder in God's Country plot
"HE'S A FIGHTING FOOL...WHEN OUTLAWS TERRORIZE THE RANGE"
The village of Hidden Valley has so far managed to retain its old west vibe, until escaped criminal Smitty plans to turn it into a modern city full of gambling palaces. Hotel owner Carson Masterson helps him with this plan and Masterson is also involved in a battle with Larkin for the mayoralty. The intention is to send the marshall Tim Gallery and his deputy Happy Hooper out of the lane after bringing in Vervan. Editor Bill Stafford confronts Smitty about his past, but is murdered by Smitty. Rex Allen, an old friend of Marshall Tim, arrives and becomes involved in the troubles in Hidden Valley.
