The Vanishing Riders plot

Sheriff Bill Jones kills the bandit Joe Land and adopts his son, Tim. The two get together and come to a former silver town, now said to be haunted. Ranch owner Joan Stanley hires the two men after her father is murdered by Wolf Larson's gang. This gang plans to steal Stanley's cattle, but are overheard by Tim. Bill and Tim then dress up as ghosts to frighten the superstitious bandits.
