The Silver Bullet plot
Wild Bill Jones is rescued from three bandits by "Silver Jim" Donovan, who has just arrived in Winchester. They team up to support Thad Morgan's campaign to become a state senator. Morgan's opponent is the corrupt Walter Kincaid. Donovan visits the local doctor and asks him to look out for a man with a scar on his left arm. That man shot Donovan's father with a silver bullet in the past. Donovan has kept the silver bullet as a kind of memorial, but one that he wants to "give back" to its original owner. Then Kincaid has Morgan killed, and Morgan's widow continues to fight for the senatorship.
