The Secret Menace plot

An old prospector stumbles upon gold at John Grant's Diamond Dude Ranch. The prospector is then promptly killed by bandits. Despite several pleas, John refuses to sell his property. The bandits then plan to sabotage a rodeo being held on John's ranch. John's manager Bob Jordan senses something is wrong and alerts the local sheriff.
