The Pocatello Kid plot
Jim Bledsoe is a cruel and corrupt sheriff who follows the orders of cattle thief Pete Larkin. Ken Bledsoe, his twin brother and also known as 'The Pocatello Kid', has just escaped from prison and is shot by bandits following him. Ken drives into town injured to get help from his brother, but before he can find him, Jim is shot and killed over a gambling problem. Larkin sees his chance and blackmails Ken into assuming the identity of the murdered sheriff. In addition to his brother's medal, Ken also inherits his betrothed Mary, Larkin's beautiful daughter. When Ken swears to rid the city of all thieves, he finds himself at odds with Larkin and his gang.
