The Night Hawk plot
The New York Police Department is after a criminal dubbed "Night Hawk". José Valdez, a Mexican American, helps him escape. In return, José wants "Night Hawk" to kill a certain sheriff. "Night Hawk" agrees, but falls in love with the sheriff's daughter and cannot keep the promise. José does not accept that and kidnaps the daughter.
