The Marshal of Mesa City plot

Sheriff Judd Cronan is employed by the city of Mesa City and rules the city as if everything were his own. School teacher Virginia King has had enough of his strange antics and advances and leaves town. The sheriff sends his sidekick Pete to kidnap her. Retired law enforcement officer Cliff Mason happens to be nearby and decides what to do about the lawlessness in the area. Feeling cornered, the sheriff sends hit man Duke Allison after Mason.
