The Long Rope plot
"The roaring story of a frontier town where lawlessness made its last stand!"
A judge is sent to a small town to preside over a murder trial. The suspect turns out to be a poor Mexican who is suspected of murdering the brother of a powerful landowner. The inhabitants of the town do not want a delay in the case and are only too eager for a verdict with a sentence to the noose. The judge begins to doubt the Mexican's guilt and starts looking for the real culprit. The judge has little time to prevent the Mexican from being transported to the gallows.
